- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪On October 18th I fell off my roof, dislocated my shoulder, and fractured my humerus. I was referred to Dr. McCoig by Rappahannock General and saw him on the 20th. He sent me from his office wearing a cheap sling and a prescription for pain killers. I decided to get a second opinion and saw Dr. Haynes in Newport News. He took one look at my xray and scheduled an MRI and surgery. I am scheduled to get a 4 inch incision in my shoulder and the bone fragment will be screwed back into my humerus and 4 anchors will be needed to repair my rotator cuff. Dr McCoig may be a good dr. but I would not recommend him. He really dropped the ball.July 02, 2017by Don Lee
